Luke Chitwood
Program Manager, College Access & Communications, Illinois Tech Global Leaders Program 

Luke Chitwood comes to IIT Boeing Scholars Academy by way of New York, where he taught high school special education, physics and biology in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Most recently, he served as the college counselor for KAPPA International High School. Luke is heading up College Programming and Scholar Recruitment for IIT Boeing Scholars. He’s thrilled to work with such a diverse, talented and innovative group of students, as well as to be part of the broader community of educators at Illinois Tech. When he’s not talking about or working for college access for all students, expect to find Luke drinking coffee. His mom introduced him to it at the age of 1; his life been much better ever since.



Charlie Lindquist
Program Coordinator, Illinois Tech Global Leaders Program

Charlie Lindquist is serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with the SASDI office for the 2014-2015 academic year. As an AmeriCorps VISTA for SASDI, he is one of the lead coordinators for STEM Launch, a collaboration between CPS, City Colleges of Chicago, the U.S. Navy, and Illinois Tech. STEM Launch seeks to expose high school students to STEM, careers in the Navy, and higher education. Charlie also works with the Student Center for Diversity and Inclusion in coordinating leadership and professional development opportunities for students. He received his Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he worked for the Office of Disability Services and peer facilitated a social work course on gender-based violence prevention. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys reading feminist novels, watching Badger football, and exploring Chicago’s many diverse communities.



Annie Senior
Program Director, Illinois Tech Global Leaders Program

Annie Senior has worked to increase higher education access through research, program development, and mentorship. While pursuing her graduate degree at Northwestern University, she received a prestigious STEM Education graduate research fellowship from the National Science Foundation to study STEM learning in out-of-school settings. She served as an AmeriCorps VISTA upon receiving her masters, playing a central role in developing a service-based fellowship program for underserved college students in Chicago. Currently, Annie is working for the IIT Boeing Scholars Academy, coordinating  STEM enrichment programs. Outside of work, Annie loves dancing, literature, and looking at stars in her Colorado hometown.
