Team Justice for All

The Problem

Police brutality is an issue that disproportionately impacts minorities in Chicago. In 2011, 77% of the Chicago Police Department’s youth arrests were black youth which increased by 2% the following year. A root cause of this issue is the lack of trust between the Chicago Police Department and Chicago’s many communities. Our team aims to improve relations between the police force and communities within Chicago. We believe that relationship building can help promote a culture of trust between police and citizens.
