On August 14th and 15th, the Institute for Positive Living and held an Open Books Program at Illinois Tech, which included interactive presentations for students and parents in the Bronzeville community followed by a parent discussion group. Presenters were acclaimed authors Sharon M. Draper, Earl Sewell and Bernard Turner, with Ms. Draper leading the parent discussion group.
