This week SASDI and the Career Management Center (CMC) hosted 40 companies for the fall semester Career Connections networking event at the Pritzker Club. Career Connections events give employers the opportunity to recruit students and alumni in a less structured setting than the career fair for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions. Employers had the opportunity to speak with students about the work they do and conduct on the spot interviews. Employers included ThinkCapital, Aerotek, the Department of State, and AmeriCorps VISTA to name a few.
We are glad that our students had the opportunity to learn more about potential career paths and further develop their networking skills. We look forward to seeing these employers again at the spring Career Fair!
