Command

Do you like to take charge of situations? Do you feel comfortable sharing your opinions with others? Do you view confrontation as the first step towards resolution? If so, “Command” might be within your top strengths.

People with strong “Command” talents often feel restless until they have aligned others with their own goals. They have no problem addressing the truth, no matter how unpleasant it might be. People with Command push others to take risks and persist even in the face of adversity.

You might have “Command,” if you identify with any of the following statements:

You are: direct and decisive

You bring: emotional clarity

You need: challenges and conflict

You love: exerting control in situations that seem out of control

You hate: passivity and avoidance

Relator

Do you prefer the company of a few close friends over larger groups of people? Are you focused on deepening your existing relationships rather than pursuing new friendships? Do you believe that relationships are only valuable if genuine and authentic? If so, you might be a “Relator”.

People with “Relator” talents thrive when working with close friends and colleagues. They require an environment where friendships are encouraged and work to understand their colleagues feelings, goals, fears, and dreams. “Relators” are typically comfortable with intimacy and would prefer to spend their time with those they know best.

You might have Relator in your top strengths if you identify with any of the following statements:

You are: genuine and authentic

You bring: social depth and transparency

You need: time and opportunities for one-on-one interactions

You love: close, caring, mutual relationships

You hate: the initial social discomfort of meeting someone new
