Hello,
Its hard to imagine that the semester has come to an end.
PSD is extremely proud that overall crime is down.
PSD attributes this reduction to 3 things.
1. Crime data and trend analysis.
2. Strategic deployment of officers based on that data.
3. Education and training provided to the IIT community.
As I continually stress, safety is a shared responsibility.
The next major challenge will be the NATO summit. Public Safety is taking extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well being of the IIT community.
I look forward to seeing all of you next semester.
Enjoy the summer and your well deserved time off.
