Notes: Officers responded to a disturbance call on campus. One non-affiliate was escorted off campus without incident.

Notes: IIT DPS responded to Gunsaulus Hall for an elevator entrapment. CFD and Urban Elevator also responded and freed the student that was trap. No injuries to report.

Location: ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: MIES CAMPUS: ACADEMIC/ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDINGS: LIFE SCIENCE RESEARCH – 35 W 34TH

Date/Time Reported: 12/26/2019 10:45 AM

Notes: Officers responded to a fire alarm at the Life Science Research Building. It was determined to be caused by steam released in the basement. The alarm system was reset by facilities.

Location: ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY : MIES CAMPUS : RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS : GUNSAULUS HALL – 3140 S MICHIGAN

Notes: Officers responded to a gas smell in a residence hall. It was determined that the resident inadvertantly left a stove burner on. The area was ventilated.

Notes: Officers responded to a smell of marijuana in a residence hall. The source of the smell could not be determined.
